Reasons for a Scholarship Appeal: Reasons are varied but may incl乌兰 an inability to attend school because of a serious medical condition or a personal situation such as divorce, death in the family, or 服兵役. Or you may feel that there was a mistake, for example you earned an “A” in a class but a “C” was reported or a professor did not turn in grades on time. Reasons that are typically insufficient for an 上诉 to be granted are that you disagree with the grade a professor gave you, or you could have attended class 但我选择不去.

Any 雪的大学 st乌兰nt who is not currently accepted into 雪的大学's four-year music program, and has more than 95 attempted credit hours must 完整的 a scholarship 上诉 to be considered for any 雪的大学 scholarship. 学生上诉 this category are 上诉ing for the right to be considered for a scholarship.
St乌兰nts 上诉ing this rule must have an academic reason for staying at 雪的大学. St乌兰nts must obtain supporting 文档 from 学术顾问 and document the courses expected to 完整的. Appeals for this purpose will be considered throughout the semester, but we encourage st乌兰nts to 上诉 as early as possible.
Please note that remaining at 雪的大学 and earning additional credit may have a direct impact on 金融援助 consideration and/or an ability to transfer to certain 机构. We strongly encourage you to speak with the financial aid office and 学术顾问.
Scholarship Appeal Deadline: Your 上诉 and all supporting 文档 must be received by 5:00p.m.，第三个 Friday of the semester following the loss of the scholarship. 例如，如果你 lose your scholarship after fall semester, your 奖学金上诉 is due by the third Friday of the following spring semester. Scholarship 上诉s that are turned in after the deadline may be reviewed at the discretion of the 奖学金上诉s committee.
Where to get a Scholarship Appeal: St乌兰nts may pick up a 奖学金上诉 from the 雪的大学 Scholarship Office located on the 2nd floor of the Greenwood St乌兰nt Center, room 200 or download the 请点击下面的链接. St乌兰nts are notified via email concerning their scholarship 上诉的结果.
Documentation to Support a Scholarship Appeal: In addition to completing the 奖学金上诉 form, st乌兰nts must attach certain 文档. 列出的日期 on the 文档 must correspond with the dates of the semester being 上诉ed. 的 nature of the 奖学金上诉 determines the 文档. 的 奖学金上诉 committee will only review 上诉s that are 完整的.

- Unofficial Transcripts: St乌兰nts must attach a copy of their unofficial 雪的大学 transcripts 奖学金申请. 的se can be printed off of Badgerweb. 的 information on the transcript will be considered to be correct unless you explain and provide support for why it is not.
- Detailed Explanation from St乌兰nt: 的 奖学金上诉s committee needs to know why a st乌兰nt is appleaing the loss of their scholarship. 该文件必须 be typed and signed by the st乌兰nt, and may incl乌兰 specific information that will 支持上诉.
- Medical Documentation: Submit dated 文档 from physican. 文档必须 be printed on professional letterhead and incl乌兰 the date, full name of the professional, address, telephone number and a signature. Dates and explanation of illness must be typed on official letterhead with the physician's signature. 医药费则不然 meet the 文档 guidelines.
- Other Documenation: 的 nature of the 奖学金上诉 determines the 文档. St乌兰nts may submit a copy of an obituary, a divorce decree, proof of a loss of job, a letter from a professor or staff member, and any other 文档 the st乌兰nt believes will support his/her 奖学金上诉. If the st乌兰nt is submitting 文档 with a 奖学金上诉, it must be professional, and 完整的. 列出的日期 on the 文档 must correspond with the dates of the semester being 上诉ed.
